On Friday evening singer Remo Frenandes donated his jacket and flute to The Celebration Gallery of the upcoming Moda Goa Museum, where Goan Icons and their sartorial style will be showcased.
“Last night the @modagoamuseum got a gift for The Celebration Gallery. A Remo Fernandes emrald green jacket and a flute. Goa’s best personally bequeathed the two treasures with a performance thrown in,” fashion designer, author and founding member of the museum, Wendell Rodricks, posted on his social media handles.
Wendell also posted a video of Remo wearing the jacket and delivering a little flute performance. The museum, set in the 450-year old heritage house in Colvale, comprises 15 galleries dedicated to different costumes, and Remo’s gifts will find their permanent home in one of those.
